Correct. Police have more power then the president. The POTUS can not arrest someone, can not legally kill someone, and can not take away a persons rights (at least thats how the framers meant it, the current POTUS is not doing a very good job). I don't want someone who did acid, shrooms, or any other drug backing me up. There have been studies that in high stress moments, you body releases chemicals from 20+ years back, so when you and me are running after a suspect, your body releases those CHEMICALS you put in your body...now I have to worry about you AND the suspect...not thanks. Like Graham said, look into firefighter/paramedic.
