The AK-47 is the choice of military, police and bad guys here. I don't think anyone is too concerned about accuracy. Most targets are 14' or closer. No problem. I believe it's the weapon of choice cause, 1) Availability. The bad guys are bringing in over 2,000 weapons a day, mostly AK-47s with a few hand guns and some 50 mm machine guns; 2) Cost. Not expensive as guns go. When you're buying in quantities like that cost is a factor; 3) Little or no training to use one. Point and pull trigger.

It may not be the best, but it serves pretty well for everyone using it here.

I have to say that I have shot the AK-47, SKS and the AR-15 and I like the AR the best. However this is just sitting out back and picking of cans and not shooting people or animals. honestly I loved the accuracy and the lack of recoil so you can stay on target. the AK inacurate but powerful so it did give that feeling that it would b great for closer firefights.
