The Zoo!!!!!

I was at our explorer academy (I know it was a while ago) but anways, they had a work out there called the "zoo" the explorers all got together in a circle and we had to do the bear walk, crab walk, the ostrage( jumping around the circle), mud puppy (basicly the army crawl w/o your legs). It was crazy workout it hurt like hell and you couldn't even move after that, then they made us march.

It was a great workout, I would do it all the time because it worked all your muscles, Including your brain, they kept yelling at us, in the field when you get SHOT OR IN A FIGHT ARE YOU JUST GONNA LAY THERE AND DIE, NO YOUR GONNA GET BACK UP AND FIGHT NOW MOVE MOVE MOVE.

There was alot of yelling at the academy, they were telling some of the level 1's (I was a level 3) that they would not want them to back them up on the street because they do not know how to fight through pain. I was like damn, you don't have to be yelling at these 14 year olds. lol. .

Sounds like the same sort of training we had in the Marines. They called this the Quarter Deck and it would woop your ass.

Sounds like what my post will be doing next year during our explorer camp. I dont know if we will be doing it to the extent of the academy, because we are going to invite those who are not in the explorer program.
