Uniforms
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our post just got a pretty donation from a wealthy indivual and our advisors decided that they were going to buy us all new uniforms. So heres our new uniforms that we will be getting.
Short sleve Uniform shirt (light blue)
Dress uniform pants (dark blue)
5/11 uniform pants (grey)-For meetings only
Fitted hats w/ department patch on front and explorer embroyderd(sp) in back
Metal Badges- Kept under lock and key at department
Silver/Gold wistle chains-Gold for officers, silver for explorers
Explorer sevrons-EXPLORER
Just wondering what do you other explorer uniforms look like, our explorers would like to have dark everything but, the chief said "NO WAY" because that is what our officers at our department wear.

Right now our uniforms are pretty similar to yours. We have dark blue dress pants, and light blue shirts.

Our uniforms are similar to that, we have dark blue pants with a yellow stripe down the side and light blue shirt that is our dress uniform the uniform below that is a polo shirt with our post name on back and an embroidered badge on front our training uniform is blue BDU pants with a gray shirt

We just recently got permission to get BDUs. We can either get black or blue.

I'm an "Old School" type of guy. In my opinion, the BDU's look good for about 2 or 3 washings, then it looks like you belong in the lube pit at Jiffy Lub!

I am the only explorer, Chief won't let anyone else do it. I were the same uniforms as the other officers in my department which is a Tactical Black Uniform

basicly the same the thing as a patrolmen we only have one officer on duty per dhift. I act as a backup unit.
