FX Training!!!

Hey Everyone,

Last night we did some FX training it was AWSOME. We had to "clear" a building, inside there was an "active shooter". It was really a great learning experience, there were some things we did wrong but, we improved.

My advisor looked at me and said, "Me and you are going to show them the right way to do this". Needless to say I was a little surprized, not because I don't know what I am doing.

The building was an abandoned church building, we had the clear the building. Me and the officer decided that we were going to do rapid responce (my fav.). . .

Needless to say it was a great explorer meeting.

If you guys need to know what FX training is it is just using simunitions.....bullets with soap in them not lead.

I moved the thread to Police Explorers. I think it fits the section perfect.

Outstanding Job.. What kind of Hand Guns / Rifles did you practice with if any? How many people would clear a room 2+. Sounds like you did a great job.

We used Glock 40's, we cleared the rooms with 4 explorers execpt for when my advisor and I went then we did two person room clearing.

One of our newer explorers was going though a room with me and shot me in the back, and on top of that, the gun malfunctioned (stove pipe).Getting shot in the back hurts like hell.
