We don’t choose this job to wake up parents at 3 AM on Prom night....it chooses us to keep drunk drivers off the roads.
We don’t choose this job to hear irate drivers scream about a speeding ticket...it chooses us to know about children playing kickball in the street 2 blocks away.
We don’t choose this job to be screamed at by every scumbag in town...it chooses us to hear the child who says, "Thank you Mr. Policeman."
