British and Guns
I have not been here at the Law Enforcement Forum in a while, but I saw the video linked below and immediately thought about this forum.
As a legal gun owner, I remain perplexed by the continued attempts of others to take my rights to own guns from me and others like me. It seems to serve no good purpose. I would be curious as to what other members think about the video and what possible advantage it is to law enforcement to take guns from the people while criminals continue to be able to (illegally) locate and secure better arms.
I thought comments from the anonymous police officer were both telling and disturbing.
Referencing the end part of the story, I think that putting a man (or woman) away for defending their life and property seems nothing short of a criminal act by their own government.
Best,
-Commerce

I always find it amusing that the media always say that law enforcement doesn't like the public carrying guns. I will tell you the truth on that one.
ADMIN doesn't like the public carrying. The line officers would love to see more guns on the street. There would be a lot less crime.
Also I support castle doctrine to its fullest!

Only watched a bit of the Video, but it has nothing to do with guns. That was a march to preserve Fox Hunting. No guns involved, just people on horses charging around the countryside with a pack of hounds, trying to find a fox to rip to shreads. Which was a barbaric way to try to keep the fox population under control. Since the ban on this type of hunting foxes haven't increased either, so proves that it wasn't a successful method.

Thanks for your heads up post, the video has been changed from its original content.
If you follow the link to the blog source site (just under the small video link) where the original video link was found, you will find comments that don't fit the current video.
It would be interesting to find out why the source video was swapped.

I'm with Lord Flashheart about the fox hunting. It is barbaric and should have been banned about a century ago. As to the gun "control" as some people like to put it. . . It stinks. Criminals have no trouble getting guns and no problem using them. When citizens are forbidden to have guns, then they are turned into sheep waiting for the slaughter. Part of the problem here is that private citizens do not own guns. The bad guys pull up in front of someone's house, knock on the door and when the owner opens his door the bad guys push their way in and do whatevery they want. Putting a man in jail cause he killed someone who broke into his home is criminal. What does the government expect? Should homeowners just leave the door open so there won't be any damage when the bad guys come around?
Thank God citizens in the US are allowed to bear arms! Don't EVER compromise!!!
