I like foreign foods and have this think about me where if I go to a foreign restaurant I like being served by by a waiter or waitress who is of the same ethnicity that the restaurant specializes in. If the restaurant is Mexican, I like being served by a Mexican waitress or waiter, and not by a yellow, black or white server. The same holds true when eating in Chinese, Japanese, soul food, Etc. restaurants.
I'm not so particular about Italian eateries, unless I happen to be in NYC.

Um, ok......glad to know that about you silver, that way if we ever go out to eat I will make sure that they have a waiter or waitress of the same race.

Yeah, good thing to know SF. But, I get the feeling that I sort of walked into the converstion about a sentence or two too late. Is this going somewhere, or has it been somewhere?

Thanks HT....If I ever get to meet you I'm taking you to the best restaurant in town and it'll be on me. If it happens to be a Japanese one it better have Japs working there, 'cause IMO, the atmosphere is one of the best parts of dining out.
I don't mind who waits on me in hash houses just as long as they've washed their hands after using the rest room.

Yes, I get that same feeling when I read a lot of threads here.

Whether it goes somewhere or has been somewhere, I don't know; but I do know, it'll go about as far as most threads in this forum go.
