Fun trip!!!
So yesterday I made my way to Wal-Mart to get a couple of supplies for school. I parked my vehicle and saw some REALLY "homely" looking people walking in, I thought"great this is going to be fun." I went to the school supplies section, where I could not find a PLAIN folder to save my life, there were Hannah Montana, Power Rangers, Scooby Doo....etc, but NO plain folders to be seen. I wound up getting a couple of binders instead.
While I was there I decided to go and get a quote on tires for my vehicle (needs them bad). I approached the employee working the counter at the tire portion of the store. I had all the necessary information to find the tire I needed, so I asked him if he could direct me to that section of the area, he stated "I just started here, so I don't know where anything is right now", OK no big deal. I then asked to speak with someone who could direct me there, and the individual stated "I am the only one working this area right now." I then thanked the individual for the help that he provided (nothing!).
So then I decided to go and look at the TV's, I asked the guy at the electronics which TV would suit my needs, I told him I wanted at least a 32'', and it had to be LCD no plasma. He then proceeded to show me a 27'' plasma screen TV.......WTF!!!! I left that area, and went to go check out.
There was only one checkout open, and this woman appeared to be at least 100 years old. She would check the item, look at the screen (my guess is to make sure it checked because she couldn't hear the beep.....lol). So there were 3 people in front of me in line, all with FULL carts.....good thing I wasn't in a hurry. So when she finally got to me (7 minutes later), she checked my items, I handed her my $20 bill, she took it and closed the drawer! I asked her for my change, which she said she gave to me! I told her she was mistaken and that I did not get my change. She then stated "if you have a problem SIR go to the customer service desk. So I did.
I spoke with the "assistant store manager" I told him the situation, which he didn't believe me, I took out my wallet and showed him that it was EMPTY! He still didn't believe me.....at this point I am starting to get a little irritated! I then ask him if he would like me to turn my pockets inside out so he could see I didn't have any change. He said that it was not necessary but he would have to speak with the checker. After he got done talking with her, he came back and stated that after speaking with the checker she was CERTAIN that she had give me my change. I then told him, he was mistaken, at this point I turned my pockets inside out, and let him look into my bag. After doing this UNNECESSARY task, the asst. manager finally believed me and gave me back my change.
As if that weren't enough, I was stopped while walking out to have the 100 year old sitting at the door check my receipt and my bag to see if I was stealing something I assume! I then left my little adventure at Wal-Mart, needless to say, I will be going to Target from now on!!!!
