Just 2 Seconds by Gavin de Becker

I haven’t finished the book yet, but I’m enjoying it so far. I like how it breaks down an assassination attempt on President Reagan. It is broken down from several perspectives in a similar fashion to a Tom Clancy novel. The book also goes over Protector techniques and what works and what doesn't. Just 2 Seconds is a must read for any protective agent.

Thanks. Read his bio, doesn't actually tell me much though. Lots of high profile appointments, but nothing about street level skills. Where'd he learn the trade, I wonder.

J2s

Please finish your read of J2S by Mr. de Becker. The book is an excellent resource for those in the field of executive protection or just those looking for a reference of public figure attacks. Fascinating from an historical perspective if nothing else.

I have always thought that Gavin de Becker and his company were a bit over-hyped. That said, his book 'The gift of fear' was nothing short of brilliant. I will have to pick up Just Two Seconds.

I think they are spammers personally. But not quite sure yet. I will be watching them closely.
