That was the exchange rate on Monday for dollars. One dollar would have bought you 9.20 pesos. However, 1 Euro will buy you 15.73 pesos. Some companies are asking that their invoices be paid in Euros, not American dollars. And people going on vacation are asking for Euros, not dollars. Better do something. Soon.

And if your vacation is to the UK don't forget, ''we don't do Euro's'', still proper money here.

I believe the EUro will crash eventually. It is a new currency and once the newness wears off it won't be worth the paper it is printed on.

that's a bit harsh, don't you think?

seems to me that maybe the euro is partially influenced by the strength of unity it represents.

I think with time things will even out somewhat, though.

Currency is such a tricky thing. I know that a lot has to do with faith in the currency, the country and the economy of that country. Lack of faith in any of these areas causes the devaluation of the money of that country. At least, that's what I've observed.
