I saw that video before and it's crazy. I don't understand how the passing motorist ended up on that side of the road. The motorist was probably on the phone.

Everyone was OK in the CRASH.....not ACCIDENT!!!!!!
Accidents are like......ooopppsss, this is not!!!!!
There are move over laws in place, and everytime I have been on a ride-along we have sent the driver of the vehicle/ower of the vehicle that didn't move over a ticket in the mail!!! People need to at least slow down, but MUST move over if they can.

I read somewhere that talking on a cell phone while driving was the equivalent of having a couple of drinks before getting behind the wheel. That's why here in Aguascalientes it is illegal to use a cell phone while driving a motor vehicle and the mayor has a "Zero Tollerance" campaign on. Everyone pulled over for talking on a cell phone or drunk driving will receive the max punishment.

Now by 2 servings do you mean 2 beers? I'm not much of a drinker, but after 2 beers I could do anything I could do sober, which leads me to say I can drive and talk on my cell phone no problem. I've never had a conversation so tense that it took my eyes off the road I talk with my mouth and drive with my eyes and hands.
I don't quite buy into that, I typically drive with 1 hand unless it is snowing out, so if that is so you could say that having the radio on and singing along with the words would be distracting to because id be doing the same thing? So comparing driving while talking on a cell phone and being drunk are WAY different in my mind!
Maybe I'm just that good lol My mom says I'm special

I think there are times when we THINK we're doing just fine when, in fact, we're not. Also, the problem with driving and talking on the cell phone, in my opinion, is that some people cannot multi-task. I know, for a fact, that I can barely walk down the sidewalk and talk on my cell phone. If you have one person who can do something with no problem and 20 that have problems, then the one person is gonna have to bear with the restrictions to control the behavier of the 20 dumbies that can't. Sad but there you go.
