No it makes you safer, not more confident!!!!

I think it is a good idea to protect yourself, taser parties.....idk if that is going too far or not! But, I would carry one if I could, but my state doesn't allow you to carry unless you are an LEO.

Those tazers that were demonstrated are the civilian c-6 model or something, you get hit by one of those and your riding the lightning for 30 SECONDS!! i could not believe that crap. LEO only go for 5 but the civis modle goes for 30. Now I know there are pros and cons for each taser product but that is just not right

The civilian model is the C2. The theory behind the 30 second ride is to allow the victim a 30 second head start to get away and call for help. By the way, the law enforcement model M26 does a 5 second ride while the X26(smaller new version) does 10 seconds. They can both be set to 30 seconds with multiple trigger pulls or can both be shut off early by a flip of the switch.

I carry an X26 on where i work and my mother is a Tupperware saleswoman. Whoever though up the Taser party idea beat me to it. lol It is a great idea
