I'm going to tell a little story:

I don't know if you caught this, but, according to the story I heard, Virginia Tech used to permit concealed-carry-approved staff members to carry on campus.

There was a professor directly involved in the situation with the gunman, and, the college administration had only just a couple months earlier revoked his privileges to carry. (Meaning he was not equipped with a firearm)

Ok, now, just to clarify, I am not saying that giving a bunch of non-law enforcement people guns would solve all the problems. What I am saying, however, is that if he had a gun, he may have been able to stop the gunman cold.

Maybe not. Maybe it would have caused more problems. Who the hell knows?

I'm tired of hearing about all these places that ban concealed carry, like stores/malls and such. These same establishments that whine and cry like little babies when someone comes in with a firearm and shoots everyone because they are defenseless.

Whatever. I'm kind of frustrated about some other things right now and that is clearly coming out in my writing.

I am saying give the people who take the proper steps the right to carry a handgun! I can't carry on my campus because it is a "gun-free" zone, and I am a LEO and work security for this college!

Most shootings (school shootings) last 5-10mins, and are usually over by the time the police arrive. This is because the shooter kills 5-10 students (maybe more) then the coward kills themselves instead of facing the (well-trained) police that have come to stop him/her.

I believe that if we allowed LAW ABIDING CCW holders to carry on campus we would have that guy from virgina tech. pumped full of bullets before he could kill more than 1 or 2 people (which is still to many).

Oh. well we completely agree then.

I was starting to think I was the last person on earth who feels this way.

See the thing is, these liberal asshats try to make everyone thing that GUNS ARE BAD! It is not the GUNS that are bad it is the dumbasses that carry them around that are BAD. So if we allow someone who LEGALLY carries a gun to protect themselves from those who are ILLEGALLY carrying a gun, I do not see a problem with that.

They also try to bring up the fact that it might lead to more deaths of LEO's because there are more guns on the street . I was thinking "are you kidding me" they make it seem like everyone who carries a gun is bad period end of story. EEEEGGGGHHHH, I just got myself all worked up again, time to go shooting.......lol, its 12:10am so I can't plus I am working security right now so......!

Yeah, for what it's worth, almost every single death I've seen posted by "officer down reported" in the last couple weeks has been an automobile-related death.



not to say that is a good thing... because it obviously isn't.

The only way to get rid of liberal asshats is to vote them out. So go and vote people!!!!!!

I did/I am going to!!!!! But for some reason, they conservative republican candidate seem just a liberal as the liberalasshats!!!!!! I don't like the choices for president this year at all! Just don't vote at all and we can have George Bush again (god help us!).

If they think this country is bad now, just wait till Hilary and Obama get in the white house and try to withdraw from Iraq, then we will be getting attacked left and right because EVERY country in this WORLD is going to think that we are weak and can't get a job finished. I don't personally agree or disagree with the war, but I think we need to stay and get the job done that we started!

I do not think that if 'we' withdrawl,that any country will think we are weak.It is just not true.....As far as terrorist go?'They' are here,in the US..There are probably so many planted here,in fact..that 'they' you speak of are NILL.I think one of the 'jobs' you speak of are Osama BL?It sure as hell is not going to take ALL OUR MILITARY to locate this person.Just one good Many nights of thinking,and I have come to the conclusion that war will always be.It does not matter who is right or wrong,because we ALL think we are right.One thing WE must NOT FORGET is to purify our HOMELAND first.or else the rest is NOTHING...And NO I AM NOT SPEAKING OF ILLEGAL ALIENS.I am talking about TERRORIST who are dwelling here as I type.
