Det. Sgt. Steven Bonura, Pleasantville PD, NY is suspended without pay, is facing 60 departmental charges and possibly being fired after he spoke to the press and alerted them to the fact that a career criminal he had arrested (who had 30 arrests), kept plea bargaining and snitching and the DA's Office was letting him out to commit more crimes.

He expressed the frustration all of us in law enforcement face daily when we see criminals using our judicial system as a revolving door and snitching for minor things, allowed back on the street.

He has served his department well and is now facing the loss of his income, his job, and medical benefits to support his family, all for expressing his frustration with the coddling of this criminal.

That is all I am asking, the law enforcement community to support and sign this petition (prefer names not signed anonymous) and let the Mayor and Police Commissioner know that we support this officer.
