Please allow me to introduce myself: Upon discharge from the U.S.M.C. I entered police work.

My career has been varied; which is of course the attraction of our professions. My duties have included, patrol officer, K-9, SWAT, detective, and police academy director. My son is now serving as a detective. Which was inevitably as he is a 3rd generation police officer.

Upon the completion of 35 years of police service, I retired and accepted a position teaching criminal justice. There is life after retirement but it will never be the same.
