Hold off on marriage too! That will drain your income.

EXACTLY TIMOTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could NEVER use a 9mm for duty, it is just to damn small and doesn't have enough stopping power!

I was unsure at first, when I bought my firearm... but I have deeply fallen in love with the 45 ACP
Here is a pile of smilies to depict how I feel about 45 ACP:
Sadly, due to the holiday and ammunition only being shippable by UPS ground, I will not get my next batch of ammunition until this next Monday

Yeah I know this is probably obvious, but, I fired off 314 rounds of Fiocchi on Wednesday, and all 314 fired properly without error or jamming.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.
If any of the ammo I use FTF's or jams, you'll all hear about it!

Yeah, someone was firing wolf ammunition next to me on wednesday, and I actually felt kind of sorry for him.
I also watched three separate jams occur in his handgun
Maybe that was a coincidence... no idea.
I fired off another ~200 Fiocchi today, using my BlackHawk SERPA holster, practicing my draw-and-shoot as well as standard shooting. I had a lot of fun and the Fiocchi shot flawlessly, as usual!

Heads up: I am advising everyone on this forum to avoid "Independence" by Federal Cartridge. Reason: Budget ammo at not-so-budget a price.
This is the box image for the ammunition in question.
The primers seem ok, and I will let you know if any of the rounds jam or Fail To Fire, but the bullets and even casings are just covered in lead and dirty brass (Unlike Fiocchi)
I am also expecting them to fire very dirty. I paid about $.75 more per box for this ammo than Fiocchi because AbleAmmo was temporarily out of stock of Fiocchi.
Anyway I will let you guys know how it goes, but, I am drastically unimpressed with this ammunition thus far.

I feel that the that the Remington UMC is pretty good ammo for the price and quintinty, I also thought that it was not to bad on the accuracy. However I shoot a 9mm at the mooment so I cannot rate the 45 ammo.

Its been awhile since my last post, but, at this point I pretty much just shoot Fiocchi. (both 9/45)
I've come to appreciate the reliability and quality of Fiocchi.
From everything I've seen, UMC is alright. Many people fire it on my range, so it has to be passable.
