Yeah I know that there are plenty of glocks with metal slides though.

There is no doubt that a polymer slide would make the weapon weigh practically nothing, but.. yeah.. *cough*

I was incredibly tempted to buy the 3" compact XD-9mm last night when I was at the range/store, but I managed not to cave to the crave. Its got this 16 round magazine with a pinky extension that is just so comfortable. Damn I love springfield guns..

I just checked Glock's website. The frame is Polymer not the slide.
