Investigation is not very easy. You have to be more aware of crime scene otherwise you can't get a better job in fed. I think FBI people are really intelligent as a result they can think faster then normal people.

When searching through the USAJOBS web site here are some series that are useful for particular LEO jobs. 0083 _ Federal Police Officer, 1811_ Criminal Investigator, 1895 US Customs and Border Protection Ofc. If you are looking for a certain area use the drop down bar and select what you want, if not select all. Also October starts the new fiscial year so more jobs are posted in October -December.
