Prospective applicants wishing to apply must apply on-line at the Commissions web-site

Civil Service Commission

If you have questions about when testing is offered, please call
the Civil Service Commission at (720) 913-3370. Applicants who require access to a computer terminal will be allowed to apply at the Civil Service Commission, 1570 Grove Street, Denver, Colorado 80204, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday – holidays excluded).

Applicants who meet the Commission’s requirements can schedule a testing appointment if appointment times are available or can “walk-in” during testing periods and test if computer stations become available due to “no-shows” or “cancellations.” Applicants who successfully register begin the testing process with a written test.

If any applicant or prospective applicant requires reasonable accommodation (per the Americans with Disabilities Act) in order to participate in any examination phase noted herein, the applicant must advise the Commission in writing, and provide supporting medical documentation.
