Nobody is going to lay the good life at our feet. It's all what we make of it. We don't have too many of the type you described, but I know them. Right now it's silver crosses that are so big you need a handtruck to support them. The different groups used to dress different from each other. Now it's all pretty much the same. And black, blue, gray, white, gold, dark green. Maybe a touch of another color. And everybody wears only those colors and no others. I've heard doing so eliminates a lot of problems. It's booooring.

Not sure who you are speaking to here.I do not belong to a group,I have very few friends, and those I have known at least 19 years or more.I do not wear crosses, although I think some are lovely.I do not wear much jewelry.I DO know of whom you speak.Gothic people who represent authority hatred.Banded together as one 'evil' entity. The reason they go for all the darkness,is in general 'good' seems not as powerful and has too many rules.Silly beings..Of course the darkside has rules too, they choose to ignore that side. The reason they also wear all the black and look like they fell face first in a tackle box is because they are afraid of death and are trying to be as brave as they can be about it..I wear black as I said, and hate pastels, yet I am afraid to die.Don't wanna and God willing I wont for awhile anyway..These kids are going through a faze..Just like country hicks?HAHA..As far as the other type, who walk, trying that is,around with the damn pants at their knees, same thing goes except I can hardly bear to look at them without wanting to yank em up for them...

I hold no ill toward anyone here, and apologize if I confused you.

You are right about the low pants. I just wait for them to sneeze...
Kids these days do their acting out dressed differently than the ones before them. I think most of them are eventually assimilated into general society.

You did not confuse me.The sad thing is the big majority of these 'kids' are actually full grown adults..I also have no ill will toward anyone here, and hope any and every feel the same.

No ill will, for sure! It's a touchy subject. It's always been a touchy subject. How old is that saying, "Birds of a feather flock together"? I agree with you, redbird, I also like some things from different "groups". I like hippy style jewelery, I like the "Abercombie" layered look, I like Western style shirts and jeans, I like long skirts--almost Amish style. So, what "group" do I belong to? And rinkedo is right, most of these people do get assimilated into society. They grow up, get a job, get married, have kids, join the PTA, move into the suburbs, etc. We just have to endure them until they realize that they're not the only people on this planet and they can't just do anything they want to any time they feel like it. They have to get along with other people, whether they like it or not.
