Exclamation Fort Carson soliders killed in roadside bomb.

FORT CARSON – A soldier from Broomfield was among three from Fort Carson killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq.

The Department of Defense says the three soldiers died on February 23 after the bomb went off near their Humvee during combat operations in Ramadi on February 22.

Staff Sgt. Joshua R. Hager, 29, of Broomfield, Pfc. Travis W. Buford, 23, of Galveston, Texas, and Pfc. Rowan D. Walter, 25, of Winnetka, Calif. were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from Fort Carson.

I pray that the family of the bereaved have the fortitude to bear the great loss.I think it its high time the US Army use the available protection for its men:the status of forces agreement between the governments of US and Iraq ,confers on US soldiers the status of dhimmies (protected allies of an Islamic state).Killing dhimmies is unIslamic and makes one an enemy of Islam.I hope we are strong enough to seek this protection
