3/14/2007 - An A-10 Thunderbolt II goes through phase maintenance March 13 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Phase maintenance is an overhaul of the entire aircraft which ensures it is ready for safe flight. A-10 pilots use a 30mm GAU-8/A 7-barrel Gatling gun as their primary weapon for disabling enemy ground targetsIt's just a phase they're going through

3900 rounds per minute that is just amazing. I think that is something that I would like to see one day.

I would love to see that someday to. That is an aweful lot of rounds.

You know a plane is bad ass when the pilot has to stop firing the gun in a certain amount of time or the plane will crash!
